Accreditation Resources
The following links provide access to the various NWAC Accreditation Templates needed to conduct accreditation activities. Initial Visit templates are used by the applying school and the initial visit two-person team to check for accreditation readiness. Self-study templates are used by the school to conduct its self-study. The Visiting Team templates are used by members of the self-study team for conducting the on-site review and follow-up report.
Click on the desired document to open it for review or to download. If there are questions about the templates, member schools are invited to contact their state or ITC accreditation director. Please note that the annual reporting process will be changed beginning with the 2012-13 school year. Schools will complete demographic update and self-study implementation status forms for state offices.
Beginning with the 2012-13 school year, schools identified by the state offices will begin using the AdvanCED Standards and protocol and the ASSIST online tool. All NWAC member schools will use the AdvancED Standards beginning with the 2013-14 school year.
