International and Transregional Division

The International and Transregional Division (ITD) represents schools and educational programs that are either international or are located  in a state other than one of the seven Northwest Association of Accredited Schools states.

The International and Transregional Division coordinates school accreditations in five categories and provides guidance to the Commission regarding International Schools, Distance Education Schools, Travel Study Schools, Residential Treatment Schools and Post Secondary Non Degree Granting Schools.

International schools accredited by Northwest Association of Accredited Schools operate programs similar to those in the United States and meet similar conditions and accreditation standards.
